Vehicle typeCovered partsWarranty period
1 Ton GasolineEngine – transmission (gearbox) – differential5 years or 100,000 km
2 Ton DieselEngine – transmission (gearbox)5 years or 100,000 km

Whichever comes first applies: the warranty period or the distance travelled. The warranty period starts from the date the vehicle is delivered to the customer.

Note: other parts and components are covered by warranties with different periods and distances, depending on the vehicle type and the part.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers the repair or replacement of covered parts where a defect in materials or workmanship is established during the warranty period and in line with the terms and conditions.

The action to be taken is determined after the vehicle is inspected and the cause of the fault is diagnosed by specialists.

Approved repairs are carried out without charging the customer for the parts or the labour involved in repairing the covered defect.

What does the warranty not cover?
  • Misuse or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions
  • Neglect and lack of care
  • Accidents and external damage
  • Overloading or use the vehicle is not intended for
  • Modifying or tampering with the vehicle's systems
  • Incorrect repair or installation
  • Not carrying out maintenance according to the schedule
  • Using oils, fluids or materials that do not meet the specifications
  • Using non-conforming parts or add-ons where they caused the fault
  • Continuing to drive after a warning that requires stopping
  • Damage from external factors unrelated to a manufacturing defect
Servicing outside the dealer's centres

Having the vehicle serviced outside the dealer's centres does not automatically void the warranty.

The work must comply with the manufacturer's requirements and specifications (service intervals and the technical specifications of oils, fluids and parts).

Keeping the invoices and service records is recommended.

When a claim is made, the vehicle is inspected and the cause determined; if it is technically established that the damage resulted from incorrect servicing or repair, or from non-conforming parts or oils, it is handled according to the terms and the applicable regulations.

Vehicle owner's responsibilities
  • Operating the vehicle in accordance with the owner's manual
  • Following the periodic maintenance schedule
  • Using oils and fluids of the specified grades
  • Acting on warnings and not continuing to use the vehicle where doing so would cause further damage
  • Keeping electronic service records and invoices (showing the chassis number, the odometer reading, the invoice date and the vehicle plate)
  • Presenting the vehicle for inspection when a claim is made
Consumable parts and periodic maintenance

Periodic maintenance work and consumable parts are not treated as manufacturing defects unless a covered manufacturing defect is established.

These include, for example:

  • Engine and transmission oils
  • Filters
  • Coolant and operating fluids
  • Spark plugs
  • Brake pads and brake components
  • Wiper blades
  • Belts
  • Bulbs and fuses
  • Tyres
Modifications and add-ons

Any modification, add-on, reprogramming or fitting of accessories does not automatically void the entire warranty.

However, if a technical link is established between the modification and the fault being claimed for, the damage may not be covered.

Engine overheating and warning lights

If a high-temperature warning, a low oil-pressure warning, or any warning that requires stopping appears, take the action set out in the owner's manual.

If it is established that continuing to drive after the warning caused engine damage or made the damage worse, it may not be covered.

Making a warranty claim

Bring the vehicle to one of the approved service centres for inspection and diagnosis.

You may be asked for:

  • The chassis number (VIN)
  • The odometer reading
  • The purchase or delivery date
  • The service record
  • Electronic invoices for servicing done outside the dealer, where needed
  • Any information that helps establish the circumstances of the fault

The decision is made once the inspection is complete.

Rejection of a warranty claim

Where a claim is not covered, the reason is explained on the basis of the inspection and the terms.

Servicing outside the dealer is not on its own sufficient grounds for rejection; what is considered is the relationship between that work and the fault.

Important: all claims are subject to technical inspection and diagnosis, to the warranty terms and conditions, to the owner's manual and the maintenance schedule, and to the regulations in force in the Kingdom.

Matiyat Al-Khair – Victory Saudi is always committed to serving its customers, and is ready to repair and service their vehicles whether the fault is covered by the warranty or not, following the approved technical procedures — with the customer bearing the repair cost in cases that are not covered, after being informed of the cost and giving their approval.
